Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries, manage the store vehicle fleet, and perform account visits with Pro Sales flyer drops.

The role requires strong sales ability, basic dispatching knowledge, and the ability to engage with customers. You will support operations, inventory management, and upsell opportunities in a busy parts department environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and dispatching.
• Assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Perform customer deliveries following standard driver procedures and build customer relationships.
• Lead organization and maintenance around parts department, backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Lead commercial program when CPP is not present.
