Painter

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Painters with commercial and residential experience for a company based in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in both interior and exterior commercial painting and a strong commitment to quality. In this job, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being part of a dynamic team.

Pay Rate:

$ 17.00- $ 19 .00 depending on experience

Schedule and Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible.

Painter Duties and Responsibilities:

• Paint and finish the interiors and exteriors of commercial buildings and schools.
• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to a variety of commercial surfaces and structures.
• Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, including minor repairs to sheetrock and cleaning air vents.
• Paint around detailed areas such as light switches, baseboards, and trim.
• Conduct validation checks on completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Carry out additional related duties as needed to support painting projects.

Painter Requirements and Qualifications:

• 5 + years of commercial painting experience (interior and exterior).
• Must own personal painting supplies and painter’s whites.
• Strong knowledge of paint mixing techniques and use of standard painting equipment.
• Ability to safely remove old paint or wallpaper without damage to underlying surfaces.
• Must have reliable transportation to drive to different job site locations in Tampa and Pinellas area .
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
