Job summary

Redwood Materials in Reno, NV is seeking a Commercial Operations professional to own end-to-end purchasing, pricing updates, and reporting for feedstock programs.

You will act as the primary contact for top-tier partners, manage invoicing and settlements of multi-million-dollar spend, and develop SOPs to streamline workflows.

Candidates should have 2–4 years in commercial ops or supply chain, a bachelor's degree, and strong external communication skills; battery/materials experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in commercial operations, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience in battery/EV materials or feedstock programs is a plus.
• Ability to own end-to-end processes with minimal oversight.
• Strong external communication skills as a named point of contact for partners.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end processing of purchase orders, pricing updates, and commercial transactions for feedstock programs.
• Maintain and improve reporting workflows, including data merging, validation, and distribution to internal teams and external partners.
• Lead invoicing and settlement processes; resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy across high-value transactions.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for reporting that supports $2–5M+ in quarterly spend.
• Own the full supplier lifecycle for feedstock partners: onboarding, program setup, ongoing operational support, and settlement.
• Maintain clean, auditable commercial data across ERP, CRM, and order management systems.

Responsibilities

Commercial Execution & Reporting

• Own end-to-end processing of purchase orders, pricing updates, and commercial transactions for feedstock programs
• Maintain and improve reporting workflows, including data merging, validation, and distribution to internal teams and external partners
• Lead invoicing and settlement processes; resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy across high-value transactions
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for reporting that supports $2–5M+ in quarterly spend

ExternalSupport

• Own the full supplier lifecycle for feedstock partners: onboarding, program setup, ongoing operational support, and settlement
• Serve as the primary operational contact for top-tier feedstock partners,maintainingstrong external relationships and high service levels
• Proactivelyidentifyand resolve partner-facing issues; accelerate when appropriate and follow through to resolution

Process Ownership & Team Enablement

• Author,maintain, and improve SOPs for Commercial Operations processes within your focus area
• Support onboarding and training of new team members; serve as a process resource for the broader team
• Identifysystemic inefficiencies and lead improvements — not just flag them

Data & Systems

• Maintain clean, auditable commercial data across ERP, CRM, and order management systems
• Perform data validation and analysis to support operational decisions and reporting accuracy

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 2–4years in commercial operations, supply chain, or a related field; experience in battery/EV materials or feedstock programs a plus
• Demonstrated ability to own processes end-to-end with minimal oversight
• Strong external communication skills; comfortable as a named point of contact for partners
• Proven track record of writing or improving operational SOPs

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
