Job summary

Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS) is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to lead the engine connecting manufacturing capabilities with internal customers. You will own the customer relationship from first quote to final delivery and will set priorities, build the team, and scale the commercial organization.

You will drive order lifecycles, improve quoting turnaround, and ensure on-time performance, while leading growth, marketing strategy, and scalable processes that accelerate demand

Responsibilities

• Own the full order lifecycle from intake to delivery, including quoting, estimation, scheduling, and customer communication.
• Drive quoting and estimation turnaround to meet promise dates.
• Ensure rapid prototyping SLA with on-time performance >95%.
• Plan and execute orders from business development with clean hand-offs.
• Manage order sequencing and prioritization; make tradeoffs when demand exceeds capacity.
• Negotiate delivery timelines with customers for large/complex projects.
• Own the customer relationship from order acceptance through delivery completion.
• Drive account growth with existing customers across new prototyping and managed orders.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by managing end-to-end experience.
• Resolve escalations and service failures; own the outcome.
• Grow rapid prototyping revenue by managing pipeline, capacity, and execution.
• Develop and execute marketing/branding for AMS services and service catalog management.
• Build and maintain commercial processes to support AMS scaling.
• Hire, develop, and retain the commercial operations team.
• Set expectations, delegate with accountability, build a team that runs without escalation on standard decisions.
• Define system/tool requirements for quoting, order tracking, and customer communications.
• Prioritize improvements to commercial systems and roadmap alignment.
• Design scalable processes to reduce manual effort and increase speed/accuracy across commercial operations.
