Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in more than one of the following functions within the biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life sciences consulting industries: Development, marketing, product launches, strategy, commercial operations, or related functions.
  • BA/BS in Biotechnology, Scientific field, Marketing, General Management, or related field.
  • Team player with the ability to successfully collaborate and partner in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to influence all levels of the company
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior leaders across functions (marketing, sales, supply chain, finance, global strategy, etc.)
  • Hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” approach toward achieving business results
  • Ability to quickly gain credibility and confidence at all levels within the company
  • Excellent track record of creating and delivering presentations to senior leaders and cross functional teams
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness
  • Strong experience in pharma and/or biotech asset/therapy launches
  • Must have leadership skills; should be an effective team leader with a track record of developing and upskilling team members and a proven ability to motivate teams and drive performance excellence
  • Must have an experience record of managing and leading in a matrix environment

Responsibilities

  • Plan agile launch strategies to enable cross-functional integrated launch planning and execution in alignment with the global launch ambition.
  • Oversee launch readiness frameworks, tools, and methodologies (including Global and US) across the assets to ensure asset, market, and enterprise readiness.
  • Partner with the Global Brand Leads to launch reviews with the cross-functional Launch Readiness Teams against key launch milestones and objectives by the pre-launch stage
  • Partner with leadership across all functional areas, including medical and marketing leadership to ensure there is strategic alignment across product launch teams
  • Demonstrate leadership by influencing, coordinating, and partnering across workstream leadership to ensure launch readiness
  • Develop and implement launch metrics and tracking mechanisms to monitor progress and impact of product launch, providing support for governance reviews and drive continuous progress
  • Ensure teams meet or exceed their launch readiness goals by providing strong cross-functional support and management, driving decision making, facilitating issue resolution, problem-solving, risk management, and contingency planning
  • Drive Pre-Launch and Post-Launch performance assessments to gather learnings and drive continuous improvement. Capture lessons learned and best practices to apply to future brands and launches, evolving the launch playbook.
  • Proactively raise risks within the brand/launch plan to brand and marketing leads, as well as other functional leaders.
  • Use business and launch knowledge to assess potential resourcing needs.
  • Serve as a connection point between the Project Teams, Global Brand Teams, and Launch Readiness Teams for US and global launch readiness by staying engaged with launch progress and risks and sharing launch lessons across groups

Position Summary

This individual will be responsible for driving launch readiness planning to ensure successful commercialization of pipeline assets. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional launch teams globally to develop launch standards and establish consistent planning and KPIs, ensuring launch excellence against specific business deliverables.

What You’ll Do
