Job summary

RCS Moving LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Commercial Mover - Driver to operate company vehicles and actively participate in commercial and residential moving projects. This hands-on role covers driving, loading, unloading, packing, installation, and job-site professionalism.

You will work with crews to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on every job, while maintaining excellent customer service and timely documentation of activities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (CDL or non-CDL, as required for vehicle assignment).
• Clean driving record in accordance with Company and insurance standards.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening if applicable.
• Ability to lift 100+ lbs. repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and Company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues immediately.
• Ensure vehicles are properly loaded, secured, and unloaded.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles.
• Perform all physical aspects of moving, including lifting, carrying, loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking.
• Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Support commercial furniture installation and placement as directed.
• Follow job scopes, work orders, and crew leader instructions.
• Interact professionally with customers at all times.
• Protect customer property, facilities, and furnishings.
• Communicate issues, damages, or concerns immediately to the Crew Leader.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Use proper lifting techniques and PPE.
• Report incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Accurately complete daily timesheets.
• Ensure time is recorded correctly to the appropriate job.
• Assist with job documentation as required.
