Job summary

Division 6 Services in Norcross, GA is seeking an experienced Millwork Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will interpret architectural drawings, perform takeoffs, and develop accurate, competitive bids for projects ranging from $300,000 to $5,000,000.

Strong communication and analytical skills are essential. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with vendors, producing bid proposals on time, and handing off projects to PMs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in millwork or casework estimating
• Strong understanding of AWI standards and woodworking terminology
• Proficiency with estimating tools (Excel, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare detailed takeoffs for materials, labor, and subcontractor costs
• Analyze blueprints and develop accurate cost estimates
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and lead times
• Prepare and submit complete bid proposals within deadlines
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers for project handoff
• Maintain organized records of bids, revisions, and pricing
