Position Scope:
Responsibility for assigned Anika product lines. Manages sales support functions, strategic account coordination, and product education activities with distributors and clinicians. Assists the DOS in formulating and administering sales quotas and targets.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Participate in formulating and administering sales policies, strategies, tactical goals, and objectives.
- Promote assigned product lines within the region.
- Assist DOS in reviewing and analyzing sales and marketing activities, operations, and forecast data to measure progress toward goals.
- Attend surgical cases with distributor representation to support proper product utilization.
- Obtain and forward revision information and documentation to the Quality & Regulatory team.
Sales Channel Development:
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure effective sales messaging and success, including organizing and participating in sales training.
- Work with distribution partners to drive product strategies and positioning in regional markets.
Direct Commercial Activity:
- Collaborate with local distributor partners to acquire and retain key accounts.
- Support trade shows and medical programs, including key distributor events.
- Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the region.
Other Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor credentialing processes.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or equivalent qualification.
Desired Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- 5+ years of successful sales management/leadership in orthopedic surgical/medical device sectors or equivalent.
- Proven track record with KOL relationships at regional or national levels in orthopedics and sports medicine.
- Financially responsible and metrics-driven leadership.
- Experience managing regional distributor networks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to sell complex medical devices.
- Subject matter expertise in surgical or clinical areas.
- Experience with forecasting processes.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results timely.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and oral.

- Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time.
