Job description

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team! This full-time position plays a vital role in the day-to-day maintenance and care of commercial properties within an assigned portfolio. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, installation, repair, and upkeep of building systems and property equipment—ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. You'll be part of a proactive team supporting site operations through effective and efficient maintenance practices.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On-call availability required

Compensation:

$25+ hourly

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks across various commercial properties to ensure safety and performance standards
• Tasks include minor electrical work, plumbing, painting, carpentry, groundskeeping, and general repairs
• Respond promptly to work orders, providing updates for timely resolution
• Maintain understanding of building systems such as emergency shut-offs, electrical panels, sprinklers, generators, and mechanical rooms
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors, providing site access and guidance
• Support exterior upkeep, including parking lots, sidewalks, and landscaping
• Inspect buildings and grounds regularly to ensure safety and professionalism
• Identify and report safety, liability, or security concerns

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial property maintenance
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Valid driver’s license required
• Own basic tools preferred

Physical Requirements:

This role requires full mobility and stamina. Team members must be able to:

• Communicate clearly throughout the workday
• Perform physically active tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Frequently lift or move items over 75 pounds
• Use various vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
