Job summary

Total Talent Solutions is hiring a Commercial Maintenance Technician in Arlington, TX. The role requires 2–5 years of experience in commercial maintenance, HVAC/electrical/plumbing skills, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation is offered at $26.00–$30.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend availability.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, repairs across building systems, and strong customer service. Travel to local client sites is expected daily.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance issues
• Complete work orders, inspections, service reports, and quality documentation using mobile technology
• Maintain positive customer relationships and provide exceptional service
• Coordinate materials and supplies needed for assigned tasks
• Follow OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and company compliance standards
• Assist with project estimates and recommend facility improvement solutions
• Support emergency repairs and ongoing property maintenance needs across multiple customer sites

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders regularly
• Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working around mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and elevated work areas
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle and maintenance equipment

What You Will Do

As a Commercial Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.
