Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems (packaging/machinery, plumbing, kitchens, roofs, drains, grounds equipment, HVAC).
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic/electrical/mechanical/hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes (ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, paint walls/floors/equipment).
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
• Inspect buildings/grounds/equipment for unsafe conditions; perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• Perform carpentry tasks and snow removal when necessary.
• Comply with codes, regulations and company directives; practice safe work habits.
