Job summary

Outsource is hiring a Cable Technician in the Tampa Bay Area for a Low Voltage Installer role. Responsibilities include pulling and routing CAT5/6 cables in new construction, terminating jacks and distribution frames, and installing support structures.

Requirements include 2+ years of commercial low voltage experience, familiarity with standards (BICSI, EIA, TIA, NEC), fault tolerance, and own basic telecom tools. Compensation is $18-$28 per hour, with weekly pay and optional benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial low voltage installations.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards.
• Ability to read and understand schematic/line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and routing CAT5, CAT6, CAT6A cables in a new construction commercial environment.
• Terminating phone jacks and dressing/terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels).
• Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks).
