Job Title:

Commercial Locksmith Technician

Reports To:

Office Manager or Franchise Owner

Key Areas of Responsibility:

The Locksmith Technician position is a highly skilled, hands-on technical role in the field. It is crucial for the growth of the company. The technician drives company vans to commercial client sites such as schools, churches, and manufacturing facilities to diagnose problems and service locks, doors, door hardware, and keys. They continually learn new security technology solutions and help clients stay secure. We seek candidates eager to utilize and enhance their technical skills, grow their careers, and be part of a community-focused team recognized for excellence over 7+ years.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and provide solutions for customer security needs.
• Install, service, maintain, repair, and replace doors, frames, locks, keys, door hardware, door closers, panic devices, smart locks, and more in commercial buildings.
• Utilize smartphone apps and computer software for check-ins and payments.
• Install, repair, and maintain Access Control Hardware.
• Assist in installing wiring, cameras, and access control hardware.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in locksmithing, doors, frames, access control, and related trades.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and quick learning ability.
• Commitment to providing timely and accurate customer service.

Physical/Other Requirements:

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50-100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Capability to perform all physical activities required for the role.
• Pass background checks, drug screening, and provide references.
