Job summary

Central Bank in Storm Lake, IA seeks a Commercial Loan Specialist to assist loan officers in underwriting, documentation, and collateralization of quality loans. You will coordinate with Loan Operations and customers to gather necessary materials and ensure timely processing.

You will also help prepare loan committee materials, manage closing calendars, and support the Credit Department to ensure accurate presentations for committee reviews.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in similar or related duties.

Responsibilities

• Assemble loan data and underwriting documents with accuracy.
• Coordinate appraisals, title work, and collateral releases.
• Prepare loan committee materials and maintain loan files.
• Collaborate with loan officers to structure loans and collateralize liens.
• Manage closing calendar and coordinate loan closings.
• Verify documentation compliance (KYC, HMDA, UCC, insurance, taxes).
• Communicate with customers, accountants, and attorneys on financials.
