Job summary

Atlantic Community Bankers Bank (ACBB) is seeking a Loan Review Analyst to join our Shatswell MacLeod team. This role partners with management, review staff, and clients to evaluate commercial loan portfolios, assess underwriting quality, validate risk ratings, and support loan review engagements.

You will help strengthen credit quality, risk management practices, and portfolio performance by delivering high‑quality loan review reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
3+ years of banking experience in loan review or related areas.
Strong knowledge of commercial lending, financial analysis, risk ratings, and regulations.
Experience preparing loan review reports and risk assessments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent reviews of commercial loan portfolios.
Evaluate credit quality, underwriting, risk ratings, covenant compliance, and policy adherence.
Document findings and recommendations per loan review methodologies.
Identify credit risk concerns and portfolio improvement opportunities.
Support proposal, engagement setup, renewal, and post-review activities.
Coordinate client documentation and communications throughout the loan review process.
Ensure timely completion of engagement milestones.
