Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to perform day-to-day loan operations, document preparation, and follow-up on commercial loans.

Responsibilities include booking loans in the Silverlake system, preparing UCC continuations, tracking insurance, escrow and tax service contracts, handling member inquiries, and supporting processors and lenders to exceed member expectations.

Qualifications

• Two years banking or equivalent experience, preferably in loan operations.
• Thorough knowledge of the loan service process.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Time management for understanding the urgency of Member needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day loan operations for all lending transactions booked by the Commercial Loan Operations Department.
• Interact closely with loan processors and lenders.
• Book loans in Silverlake system.
• Prepare and file UCC Continuations.
• Maintain insurance tracking – Communication with members & insurance agents for policy coverage on loan renewals.
• Escrow monitoring and order tax service contracts.
• Handle general Member inquiries, both external and internal.
• Exceed Member expectations by prioritizing their needs.
• LaserPro Doc Prep/Review.
• Imaging of loan documents.
• HMDA/Adverse Action reports.
• Construction loan monitoring and disbursements.
• All other duties as assigned.
