Job summary

Jimmy Jazz seeks a professional in lending to make and service secured and unsecured loans or lines of credit. The role involves developing new business through calls, recording each interaction, and managing a loan portfolio in line with bank policies.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2–4 years of experience, strong PC skills (Word/Excel), excellent communication, and solid organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent to provide familiarity with finance, economics, English, business law, marketing, statistics.
• 2+ to 4 years of experience in lending/banking or related fields.
• Proficient PC skills with Word, Excel and other software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational abilities.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an insurance license; NMLS number must be obtained.
• Must complete annual SAFE Act training.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through sales calls to customers and non-customers, recording and tracking each call.
• Monitor loan portfolio compliance with policy.
• Manage assigned loan portfolio.

SUMMARY: Makes and services a wide variety of secured and unsecured loans or lines of credit.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new business through sales calls to customers and non-customers, record and track each call.
• Monitor loan portfolio compliance with policy.
• Manage assigned loan portfolio.
• Administer work out accounts and problem loans.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank’s written policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money laundering policies.
• Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

Skills/Knowledge and Abilities/Experience

• Position normally requires a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent to provide basic familiarity with a variety of subjects such as: finance, economics, English, business law, marketing, statistics, etc.
• Over two years and up to four years of experience.
• Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Word, EXCEL and other applicable computer software programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Insurance license
• Must have (or obtain during the first 30 days of employment) a valid NMLS number
• Must complete annual mandatory SAFE Act training through Regulatory University.
