CommerceWest Bank in Irvine seeks a Commercial Loan Officer to originate and manage profitable C&I loans and related facilities, building strong client relationships and cross-selling across bank services.
The role requires sourcing new business, developing plans, and collaborating with Credit Administration and Treasury Management to deliver superior client experiences in a competitive market.
The Commercial Loan Officer (CLO) is primarily responsible for acquiring new profitable commercial banking relationships through the origination of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans, lines of credit, working capital facilities, equipment financing, acquisition/M&A financing, and owner‑occupied commercial real estate loans. The CLO is expected to proactively prospect, develop centers of influence, cultivate referral sources, and generate new business opportunities that align with the Bank’s credit culture and profitability objectives.
The CLO serves as the primary relationship manager for prospective clients and is responsible for cross‑selling deposit accounts, treasury management services, and other banking products to establish full banking relationships. The CLO works closely with Credit Administration, Treasury Management, Deposit Services Group, and Portfolio Management teams to deliver an exceptional client experience while expanding the Bank’s presence in the marketplace.
