POSITION SUMMARY

As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will build and manage relationships with business clients by providing tailored lending solutions. You’ll play a key role in growing our commercial portfolio while helping local businesses succeed. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build and manage a portfolio of commercial loan relationships, including business, real estate, and construction lending
• Develop new business through networking, referrals, and community involvement
• Meet with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend lending and banking solutions
• Analyze financial statements, credit information, and collateral to evaluate loan opportunities
• Structure and present loan requests with clear recommendations and supporting analysis
• Monitor existing loans to ensure compliance, strong credit quality, and client satisfaction
• Identify potential credit concerns and collaborate with leadership to develop solutions
• Deliver responsive, high-quality service to clients and internal partners
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by making referrals to other lines of business, including treasury management, deposit products, and other bank services
• Actively support deposit growth by developing and maintaining strong operating account relationships with commercial clients
• Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may mentor junior team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Working knowledge of commercial lending systems and processes preferred.
