Community bank seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Assistant to support and assist Branch President in servicing of the existing loan portfolio and with new loan requests. Position located in Spring Branch (Bulverde area), Texas.

• Maintain borrower credit files by collection of financial statements
• Assist with loan closings, draw requests, payments, deposits, wire transfers and check requests
• Coordinate commercial real estate loan closings with borrower, title company and bank attorney
• Ability to follow through and follow up on outstanding tasks
• Must be detail oriented with good proofreading skills
• Write, edit and create letters and other documents
• Ability to manage deadlines and stay organized with high volume of closings and transactions
• Proficient time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Professional demeanor and good communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and be someone who is a self-starter/self-sufficient
• Light or occasional bank teller duties including banking transactions and loan payments
• Answer telephones and handle emails
• Responsible, energetic, driven, willing to learn, quick learner and has a positive attitude
• Ability to deal and interact well with clients
• Keep a high level of confidentiality

Experience with the following is preferred:

• Commercial lending experience , specifically in commercial loans, commercial real estate and residential and commercial construction OR Previous experience at a Title Company
• Broad knowledge of commercial real estate lending
• Preparation and familiarity with commercial loan documents
• Searching for documents via Texas Secretary of State (SOS) Office
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe and Laser Pro
• Searching online corporate entity formation, public record filings, and online public information
