Job summary

Guaranty Bank & Trust in Katy, TX is seeking a Full-Time Commercial Loan Administrative Assistant to support the loan function with clerical duties and regulatory compliance. You will handle credit reports, loan applications, document preparation, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree or higher is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year loan administrative experience in commercial real estate loans is required.
• Preferred 2 years loan administrative experience in commercial real estate loans.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
• Obtain credit reports and process denials according to regulations.
• Take loan applications, obtain credit reports and process denials according to regulations.
• Type memos, letters and reports.
• Greet customers and assist with routine problems.
• Accept loan payments and deposits.
• Handle incoming calls and mail.
• Obtain documents and legal papers for loans.
• Produce loan documents and renewal loans timely.
• May service loans (payments, payoff quotes, forwards to lenders/clients).
• Maintain knowledge of banking products to cross-sell to customers.
• Image documents into electronic filing system.
• Set up meetings and conference calls.
• Monitor schedules to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies.
• Comply with privacy policies and regulations.
• Complete required regulatory training.
