The candidate must coordinate tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities, including irregular hours. The position requires solid knowledge of court rules, extensive software experience, and excellent communication skills to interact with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of court rules, practices and procedures.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation software.
• Strong communication with team, clients, and court personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with depositions, witness prep, and research.
• Draft and revise routine legal documents for attorney review.
• Prepare draft discovery requests and responses.
• Coordinate between multiple parties and attorneys throughout a case.
• Calendar court dates, hearings and arrange for court reporters.
• Electronically file court documents in State and Federal Courts and ADR forums.
• Prepare hearing and deposition materials; record work for client billing.
• Attend trials and hearings as needed.
