Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our growing Business Law and Commercial Litigation practice. This role offers the chance to handle sophisticated business disputes while collaborating with a nationwide team of professionals.

The ideal candidate has substantive litigation experience and can manage matters through all phases, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Delaware Bar in good standing.
• 3–10 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Commercial or complex business litigation experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience handling matters in state and federal court.
• Strong research, writing, discovery, motions, depositions, and court appearances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and analyze complex legal and factual issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on commercial and business issues.
• Handle written discovery, document review, and electronically stored information.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Argue motions and advocate for clients in state and federal courts.
• Prepare witnesses, exhibits, motions, and other materials for hearings and trial.
• Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, developments, risk, and resolution.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm’s practice groups.
• Manage multiple matters, deadlines, and client expectations with accurate billing.
