Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Commercial Litigation Attorney with approximately 6–8 years of experience. The attorney will manage a litigation docket, including drafting and arguing motions, preparing pleadings, conducting legal research, and developing case strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, coordinating with clients and co-counsel, and preparing cases for hearings and trials in state and federal courts. The attorney will analyze commercial contracts and business disputes, assess risk, and advise clients on litigation options and settlement strategies. Collaboration with colleagues on complex matters, regular communication with clients, and adherence to deadlines and court rules are integral to this role.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in commercial Law, including contract disputes, business torts, and related regulatory issues.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing Motions, pleadings, and other substantive court filings.
• Background in practice before Courts, including federal and state trial courts, and familiarity with procedural rules.
• Experience preparing for and conducting Trials, including case strategy, witness preparation, and evidence presentation.
• Proficiency in managing and conducting Depositions, including taking, defending, and coordinating deposition strategy.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; ability to obtain additional admissions as needed.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and strong judgment.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
• Strong client communication skills and experience managing client expectations in complex commercial disputes.
• Prior experience with international business matters or Spanish language skills is beneficial but not required.
