Commercial Litigation Attorney

Base pay range: $200,000.00 / yr – $320,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Experience with all phases of commercial litigation.
• Conducting factual investigations and discovery.
• Preparing pleadings, taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediation, and communicating with clients.
• Managing a caseload of commercial litigation matters pending in state and federal courts.
• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial.
• Conducting legal research and analysis on complex commercial issues.
• Must have taken at least 5+ depositions as lead.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Commercial Litigation experience across a broad spectrum of commercial disciplines (e.g., health law, antitrust and privacy, finance/banking, consumer fraud, insurance coverage, product/premises liability).
• Strong experience in investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, arguing motions, and client communication.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and articulate legal strategies.
• Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial.
• Portable book of business ideal but not required.

Certifications

• Must be admitted in the state of residence.
