Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking a Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney.

Billable Hours: 1,800

Schedule: Hybrid 3/2

Location: San Diego or Los Angeles

Responsibilities

• Handle all stages of litigation, from drafting pleadings to trial preparation, including trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts.
• Craft and implement strategic litigation approaches, particularly in complex and high-profile cases.
• Handle motions, discovery, and electronic case management, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Build cases by gathering evidence, conducting witness interviews, and managing depositions.
• Develop compelling and persuasive legal arguments, particularly in nuanced constitutional matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide written analysis on various complex legal issues.
• Work closely with a team of attorneys across different office locations.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic legal advice.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of complex commercial litigation experience within a law firm.
• Ability to develop legal strategies and manage cases from discovery through trial.
