Job summary

Shulman Rogers, P.A. seeks a mid-level Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our Litigation Department in Potomac, MD. Ideal candidate has 3–7 years of substantive commercial litigation experience and strong research and writing skills.

Responsibilities include handling a broad range of matters in state and federal courts, managing all phases of litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting research, and assisting in settlement negotiations.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• 3–7 years of substantive commercial or business litigation experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Maryland Bar license required; DC and/or Virginia is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court proceedings.

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of substantive commercial litigation experience, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage matters independently while collaboration with partners and other attorneys.
