Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate for our Austin or Dallas offices. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience and must hold an active Texas bar license.

You will work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets Strategic Business Unit, handling pleadings, depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations. Experience at trial or arbitration is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas bar license
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Familiar with all phases of complex litigation: pleadings, depositions, motions, settlement negotiations, client communications

Responsibilities

• Work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets Strategic Business Unit.
• Handle pleadings, depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations as part of complex litigation.
• Collaborate with teams across Austin or Dallas to support trial or arbitration matters when applicable
