A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its commercial litigation group in the Miami office. This position offers a dynamic environment within a diverse team of legal professionals handling complex litigation matters at both state and federal levels. The role provides opportunities to contribute meaningfully to client success and collaborate with skilled attorneys.

Duties

Handle complex commercial litigation matters

Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings

Take and defend depositions

Draft substantive motions, including dispositive, expert, and discovery motions

Engage in client counseling and strategy development

Work collaboratively with a team of experienced litigators

Support litigation matters involving financial regulations (FINRA experience is a plus)

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in business litigation

Strong litigation and courtroom experience

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively

Excellent legal research and writing skills

Strong advocacy and negotiation skills

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing

Skills

Proficiency in legal research and analysis

Strong drafting and communication abilities

Native or fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish
