Stark & Stark seeks an associate attorney in our Hamilton, NJ office to handle commercial litigation, real estate and creditors’ rights matters. The ideal candidate is self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion hearings, with exposure to real estate lease disputes and related areas. Bar admission in PA required; NJ/NY admission is a plus, with a strong path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in commercial real estate and/or creditors’ rights litigation.
• Three to five years of trial experience, including two cases to conclusion.
• Strong research and writing, negotiation and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of commercial, real estate, and creditors’ rights litigation with emphasis on drafting pleadings and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions; conduct oral motion hearings; manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop professional development in a collegial setting; advise clients and organize case strategy.

Stark & Stark is actively recruiting an associate attorney for our Hamilton, NJ, office to handle commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-directed and detail-oriented, and have the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have an exceptional opportunity to continue their professional development in a challenging but collegial environment.Responsibilities:The position will be responsible for all phases of commercial, real estate, and creditors’ rights litigation, with an emphasis on drafting pleadings; conducting written discovery; taking and defending depositions; and handling oral motion hearings. Experience handling real estate lease disputes, equipment lease disputes, bank workouts, commercial foreclosures replevin actions and bankruptcy litigation is a plus.Qualifications and Skills:A background in real estate litigation and creditors’ rights litigation is ideal; experience with real estate and equipment lease disputes is a plus.Three to five years of experience in commercial real estate and/or creditors’ rights litigation.Must have three to five years of trial experience, including trying two cases to conclusion (first or second chair).Strong research and writing skills.Strong negotiation and drafting skills.Possess superior verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate strong integrity and professionalism.Ability to multitask.Exercise judgment and the ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team.Intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently.Admission to the Pennsylvania bar is required.
