Stark & Stark is actively recruiting for a Litigation Associate for our Hamilton, NJ office. Responsibilities

• Support personal injury cases, with oversight from other attorneys in the practice.
• Responsible for all phases of personal injury litigation, with an emphasis on drafting pleadings, engaging in written discovery, taking and defending depositions and oral motion hearings.
• Must know or be willing to learn medical concepts and terminology.
• Evaluate the merits of a personal injury claim, retain experts, and provide guidance and counsel to clients through effective communication.

Qualifications and Skills

• Three to five years of experience handling personal injury cases is preferred.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Skilled in negotiation and drafting.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong integrity and professionalism.
• Exercise judgment and ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to problem‑solve independently.
• New Jersey judicial clerkship is a plus.
