Responsibilities

• Own files from early stages through resolution, with partner backup.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Second-chair and, when ready, try cases in state and federal court.
• Work matters such as breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty, collections, and fraud.
• Deal directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court—not only through a partner.

Associates here are given files and expected to drive them—with partner support—through discovery, depositions, substantive motions, and trial. This is not a document-review role and not a high-volume practice. It is a long-term seat for someone who wants courtroom work early and a business-minded approach to disputes.

We represent companies and investors in corporate work, commercial litigation, and business immigration. Litigation is treated as a business decision. Our lawyers are expected to understand the deal history behind the dispute.
