LeoForce in New York is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join our fast-paced legal team. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial matters including IP, civil litigation, trade secrets, and governance, and represent clients in court hearings and depositions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters including IP, civil litigation, trade secrets, business torts and governance.
• Represent clients in court hearings, defend depositions, argue motions, and try cases.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure effective case management.
• Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of commercial litigation matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with exceptional service.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in commercial litigation and apply knowledge to work.

Qualifications

4. Proven experience in intellectual property, civil litigation, trade secrets, business torts, and corporate governance.
5. Demonstrated ability to represent clients in court hearings, defend depositions, argue motions, and try cases.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
10. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
