Burns & Wilcox, a premier wholesale insurance broker, seeks an experienced underwriter to build and manage a growing book of business. You will serve as the primary contact for agencies, drive marketing strategies, and handle complex risk pricing and renewals.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial lines underwriting or brokerage, with strong sales, organization, and attention to detail. Hybrid work options and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial lines underwriting or brokerage experience required, excess & surplus experience preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing.
• Proven organization skills and ability with a strong attention to detail.
• Interest in continued education and professional development.
• Insurance license, CPCU, CIC or comparable designations preferred.

Compensation Package

• Base compensation for the position ranges between $105,000 to $125,000 based on qualifications. The role will also be eligible for a sales incentive performance bonus.
