The Hilb Group, LLC in Hyannis, MA is seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join our in-office team. This in-office role reports to the local agency and focuses on servicing an assigned book, nurturing client relationships and collaborating with carriers.

You will manage inquiries, renewals, billing, endorsements, and keep up with our systems and product offerings to support growth.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in P&C insurance customer service or sales.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills; AMS360 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business as primary client relationship manager.
• Handle inquiries on coverages, policy changes and general questions.
• Process billing, service and endorsement requests.
• Liaise between customers and carriers to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
• Manage renewals: review loss info, update data, renew applications, and negotiate pricing.
• Maintain knowledge of company systems and offerings.

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Hyannis, MA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business acting as the primary client relationship manager with responsibility for overall account servicing and maintenance
• Handle inquiries regarding insurance coverages, policy changes and general insurance questions as related to lines of business
• Handle billing, service and endorsement requests and process necessary paperwork associated with requested
• Act as liaison between customer and carrier working closely with both to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship
• Handle renewal/expiration list for assigned book of business, reviewing loss information, obtaining updated information, renewal applications, and negotiating renewal pricing when necessary
• Maintain knowledge of all company systems and offerings

Qualifications

• High Schol degree required
• 7-10 years of experience in customer service and/or sales in the P&C insurance industry
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate via phone or email
• Superior listening skills and ability to probe customer needs and opportunities through question-based selling and retention techniques
• Self-directed with good decision making and time management skills
• Proficient PC skills; knowledge of insurance software including AMS360
• Professional Designations preferred

Compensation

• $100,000-$115,000/yr.
