Job summary

Insurance Recruiting Solutions is partnering with a well-established Property & Casualty insurer in Michigan seeking a Field Production Underwriter to support Middle Market growth. You will build and nurture independent agency relationships across Michigan and underwrite commercial accounts with a focus on profitability.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, claims, and loss control teams to balance growth with disciplined underwriting and pricing decisions, traveling within your territory

Qualifications

• Commercial Lines underwriting experience, preferably within Middle Market business.
• Strong agency relationship management and business development skills.
• Proven ability to evaluate risk while driving profitable growth.
• Knowledge of commercial coverages, pricing, and underwriting principles.
• CPCU, AU, or other insurance designations are a plus.
