Job description

Commercial Lines Operations Manager

Leavitt Group of Northern Arizona is seeking a Commercial Lines Operations Manager to lead and support our Commercial Lines service team. This role is responsible for providing operational leadership, maintaining service continuity, developing employees, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience. We’re looking for someone who enjoys developing people, building strong teams, and serving as a technical resource and leader within the Commercial Lines department.

What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and develop Commercial Lines service team members, including Account Managers and Processors, while fostering a positive and accountable culture. Partner with agency leadership to oversee department operations, support onboarding and training, manage team capacity, and ensure consistency in service, documentation, and workflow execution.

Provide guidance on Commercial Lines service issues, renewals, carrier processes, account handling, and coverage-related questions. Help evaluate and coordinate account reassignment decisions based on workload, service continuity, account complexity, Producer relationships, renewal timing, and team capacity. Support quality control efforts, training initiatives, workflow consistency, and visibility into department performance and renewal activity. Serve as a trusted resource for agency leadership and employees, providing guidance, support, and problem-solving throughout the commercial lines operation.

This is not intended to be a traditional full-time account management position. While this person may assist with accounts when needed, the primary focus is Commercial Lines service leadership, technical guidance, process consistency, quality control, training, workload visibility, account reassignment coordination, and service continuity.
