Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Production Underwriter for our nationwide E&S Binding Authority Commercial Lines division, Amwins Access. You will create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business while developing strong relationships with retail agents and staying current with carrier offers.

The role emphasizes travel, mentorship, and collaboration within a team-driven environment, and a licensed background is preferred to support growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of E&S binding authority experience.
• Bachelor's degree not required but preferred.
• Knowledge of the sales process and pipeline management.
• Ability to travel.
• Licensed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal E&S business.
• Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents.
• Stay up to date with new carrier offers and leverage them.
• Identify new markets or lines to write with trust-based selling.

Amwins is seeking qualified candidates for a Production Underwriter position for our nationwide E&S Binding Authority Commercial Lines Insurance division, Amwins Access.

Each Underwriter is a vital member of our teams, providing:

• Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
• Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategies
• Remain up to date with new insurance companies' offers and how to leverage them
• Prospect for new business markets and/or lines to write with sales techniques based in trust and relationship building
• Mentor and train new team members

We are looking for people with:

• 3+ years of E&S binding authority experience
• Bachelor's degree not required but preferred
• Knowledge of the sales process and pipeline management
• Ability to travel
