Job summary

Amwins is seeking qualified candidates for a Production Underwriter role in its nationwide E&S Binding Authority Personal Lines Insurance division, Amwins Access. This position focuses on building a profitable book of business while cultivating strong relationships with retail agents across markets.

You will mentor teammates and stay informed about carrier offers to optimize opportunities, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of E&S binding authority experience
• Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred
• Knowledge of the sales process and pipeline management
• Ability to travel
• Licensed preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
• Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through traditional and creative marketing
• Stay up to date with new insurance company offers and how to leverage them

Each Underwriter is a vital member of our teams,providing:

• Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
• Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategies
• Remain up to date with new insurance companies’ offers and how to leverage them
• Prospect for new business markets and/or lines to write with sales techniques based in trust and relationship building
• Mentor and train new team members

We are looking for people with:
