Job summary

Amwins is recruiting for an Associate Underwriter in Palm Beach Gardens to join the Amwins Access team. This full-time, in-office role focuses on reviewing submissions, rating and quoting, and supporting policy issuance and endorsements.

You will work closely with underwriters and the broader team to ensure accurate quotes, handle inspection findings, and maintain diligent data entry across systems. A strong customer-service mindset and detail-orientation are essential.

• Strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills including typing proficiency, Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheet.

Responsibilities

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
• Rate and prepare new or renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter
• Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
• Monitor various reports for consistency
• Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits
• Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
• Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
