Jonus Group is seeking a highly capable Client Executive - Commercial Lines to manage a portfolio of commercial clients, deliver risk advisory services, and drive growth through proactive sales and exceptional service.

Ideal candidates will hold an active Property & Casualty license, demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial insurance and risk management, and possess consultative selling skills to balance client retention with new business opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial clients by cultivating strong relationships, proactively identifying insurance needs, resolving service issues, and delivering exceptional client experiences to support retention and growth.
  • Drive business growth by identifying and qualifying prospects through referrals, networking, and existing client relationships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide consultative recommendations regarding insurance coverage, policy structure, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the policy lifecycle, including submissions, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and coverage modifications, ensuring compliance with agency and carrier requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and current client records, policy documentation, activity notes, and sales pipeline information within agency management systems and proprietary software platforms.
  • Achieve established performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), including new business production, retention, cross-selling, and overall book growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and underwriters, advocating for favorable coverage terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal service teams, marketing personnel, carrier partners, and agency leadership to deliver comprehensive solutions and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements, service enhancements, market opportunities, and product development initiatives.
  • Mentor and support Client Specialists and Client Managers as needed to strengthen team performance.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain expertise in commercial insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

Compensation Package
  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 annually + commissions
