Job summary

Shepherd Insurance LLC is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Coordinator to support account managers and insurance advisors in processing new and renewal commercial lines business in accordance with agency procedures. You will help service commercial accounts and contribute to maintaining client relationships.

As part of the Shepherd family, you will provide top-tier customer service, manage files, and assist with endorsements and certificates while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a similar position is desirable.
• High school diploma or GED is required; college degree is preferred, not necessary.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products and agency/document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, prompt, accurate, and courteous service to account managers and clients, as necessary.
• Maintain electronic and/or paper files in an orderly, up-to-date manner.
• Check manual policies, order loss runs, issue renewal binders, invoices, ID cards and certificates.
• Receive downloads and communications from carriers that need forwarding to other parties, and receive physical mail and faxes for commercial accounts.
• Scanning and filing in Image Right.
• Maintain all client activity in AMS 360, run suspense lists, follow procedures, and work through download reports.
• Assist in New Business workflow.
• Receive change requests for endorsements and issue all on-demand certificates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
