Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. You will manage clients' commercial insurance needs, maintain relationships, and ensure top-notch service delivery across phone and email.

The ideal candidate will hold a Property & Casualty license, have at least 3 years of experience, and be proficient with Applied Epic while delivering accurate renewals, endorsements, and coverage updates.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Applied Epic experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Professional demeanor and accountability in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients via phone and email.
• Issue certificates of insurance and process endorsements.
• Prepare renewal submissions and underwriting data; negotiate terms with underwriters alongside the Field Agent.
• Review policies, quotes, and binders for accuracy before delivering them to clients.
• Maintain the expiration/suspense list in Applied Epic to track upcoming renewals.
• Prepare and update client renewal reviews prior to policy expiration.
• Verify the accuracy of premium transactions and audits before invoicing.
• Order renewal coverages and prepare/distribute binders, invoices, and finance agreements.
• Identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities with the Field Agent.
• Handle basic claims documentation; most claims-related work managed by the claims team.
