The Jonus Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Michigan to oversee a $1.5M commercial book, working with carriers and industries to protect clients’ interests. A strong background in commercial lines insurance and a P&C license are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to managing a commercial book of business, working with a variety of carriers and industries. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial lines insurance, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to valued clients.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and Retirement Plan
• Raises: Annual performance-based increases

Responsibilities

• Manage a $1.5M commercial book of business, including contractors, BOPs, restaurants, workers' compensation, and professional liability accounts
• Work with carriers such as Travelers, Frankenmuth, Accident Fund, Great American, CHUBB, and Michigan Millers
• Quote new and renewal business
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (5-6 years preferred)
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Applied Systems software is required
