Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Technician to perform interior and exterior commercial lighting repairs, maintenance, and upgrades in California. The role requires 3+ years of commercial electrical experience, a valid driver's license, and punctual reporting.

Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. Benefits include medical, 401(k), and more. You will work from blueprints and schematics, service and document work orders, and ensure safety

Qualifications

• Three or more years of commercial electrical/lighting experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and MVR check.
• Willingness to overtime including weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on commercial lighting components.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair egress and emergency lighting systems.
• Replace tubes, bulbs, LEDs and other lighting components in interior/exterior fixtures.
• Work with Title 24 lighting systems.
• Experience with refrigeration controls or Ansul systems is desirable but not required.
• Provide professional customer service about lighting repairs.
• Operate company vehicles per guidelines.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and schematics.
• Submit service paperwork and reports per standards.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
