Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Quality Review Specialist to support the segment's quality assurance program across pre-closing and post-closing activities. The role focuses on underwriting, due diligence, SBA, and closing quality, with oversight feedback to ensure policy adherence and process improvements.

The candidate will review QR workflows, assess compliance, document findings, rate severities, and contribute to training and risk mitigation efforts, aimed at a better customer experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent banking industry credit experience.
• 5+ years in banking, preferably business/commercial credit or complimentary quality assurance space.
• Ability to analyze and document loan decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review QR workflow at the deal level.
• Analyze in-process (pre close) or post-closing adherence to policy, procedure, and process.
• Review each item in the QR taxonomy using the standard process checklist; note variations or issues.
• Rate the variance as a severity 1,2, or 3 based on risk.
• Record rating details in the centralized process system for aggregation of segment scores.
• Produce segment QR reporting.
• Aggregate QR data to identify training opportunities and risk gaps to improve policy and processes.
• Ensure adherence to QR program metrics: quality, production, and SLA.
