Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acquire, expand and retain commercial relationships with a proactive calling strategy.
• Cross-sell ancillary bank products and services.
• Analyze applicants' credit histories and loan repayment abilities.
• Negotiate loan terms including costs, repayment methods and collateral.
• Develop and maintain competitive interest rate structures.
• Evaluate loan requests and make recommendations to management.
• Review and disposition commercial overdrafts daily.
• Stay abreast of laws and regulations affecting business lending.
• Provide training and guidance to new loan officers.
• Develop new customer prospects for First United Bank.
• Represent the bank in the local community.
