Job summary

Axos Bank offers a 12-week Summer Internship Program designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced financial technology environment. The Commercial Lending Intern will work through the loan lifecycle, including underwriting, portfolio management, and originations, while participating in capstone projects and leadership sessions.

You will join a cohort with access to financial literacy training, Corporate Finance Institute courses, and a volunteer day, with two session dates to choose

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and reviewing borrower documentation, preparing credit memos, and performing preliminary financial analysis.
• Help monitor existing loan accounts, update client records, and track performance metrics.
• Support the onboarding of new clients, input application data, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on lending strategy and client relationship management.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations to support lending decisions and internal reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
