Job summary

Bank of Utah is seeking a Commercial Lending Assistant to support a range of loan functions for Commercial, Construction, and SBA loans. The role is based at our Provo, UT branch and may be filled at I, II, or III level based on experience and qualifications.

The position emphasizes attention to detail in documentation, workflow creation, and compliance, with a Monday–Friday schedule and essential duties including file maintenance and processing loans.

Qualifications

• High School Education.
• Must have good skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Some experience in Commercial Loans preferred

Responsibilities

• Pull: Good Standings, OFAC, UCC Search, Flood Search.
• Verify property taxes are current if collateral is property.
• Order Title Policy and prepare closing docs.
• Create workflow for loan into SageWorks and image/upload documents.
• Review loan documents with loan officer for accuracy.
