Job summary

Park National Bank in Springfield, OH is seeking a Commercial Lender I–III to evaluate loan requests, structure financing, and manage the loan portfolio. The position is on-site with typical hours Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, and travel to customers as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years commercial lending experience required
• Experience reviewing loan requests, credit criteria, and documentation

Responsibilities

• Identify business leads and cross-sell bank services
• Meet with applicants to review loan requests and discuss terms
• Prepare or assist in preparing loan submissions for approval
• Structure loans within policy
• Identify and resolve issues with credit information
• Prepare loan proposals for approval
• Review loan documents for accuracy and consistency
• Monitor construction loans, budgets, and documentation
• Manage loan portfolio including renewals and collections
• Handle complex loan requests and escalate as needed
• Contribute to risk management and compliance
• Deliver consistent service within Service Excellence standards
• Other duties as assigned
